10 letter editor HUNT SLONEM I 'm borrowing a topic from our Dallas editor, Christina Geyer. Passion projects. Passion for your work. Passion for your ideals. A passion for whatever it is that you do in your off hours. In the hours where you can choose. In this month's issue, activist Sissy Farenthold's passion keeps her moving and thinking, fired up, at age 92. Her pas- sions — human rights and politics. To see designer Dennis Brackeen's passion for good design, just step through the doors of his store Moxie, where you'll experience some of the finest work of top names in furniture design from, as Dennis says, "the 17 th century to today." You'll also encounter furniture and objects created by people with passion whose names have been lost to the winds. In this, and every issue, are people who passionately raise funds for charities, and medical research, chefs and restaura- teurs, curators and gallerists, collectors and designers. Whether your name goes down in history for good works, is attached forever to a great works of art, or is typed, anonymous, at the end of a soul-riveting poem, the passion of your work lives on. The passion of our team at PaperCity, from the creatives in the art and editorial departments to the marketing and advertising sales team, is this magazine. Go out there and find yours. You'll live longer, and happier. Leave a work of art for the next generation, be it a painting, an architectural wonder, a medical or school building with your named carved upon it, or a piece of music signed with the nom de plume, anonymous.
