26 JUBILATION REJUVENATION! ANNE LEE PHILLIPS RECAPS A BRIGHT EVENING. PHOTOGRAPHY EMILE C. BROWNE. T wo-hundred well-heeled designers, archi- tects, and design lovers fêted the opening of Rejuvenation's first showroom in Texas. Naturally, the 5,100-square-foot retail and showroom space in Uptown Park is their larg- est to date, with more than 500 light fixtures, as well as hardware, furniture, textiles, and vintage items. Rejuvenation's national director of trade Jerry Huettmann and brand marketer Liana Cavness were in from Portland for the evening, joining store manager Audrey Yust. Designers — long familiar with Rejuvenation's catalog and website — browsed the offerings, cocktails in hand. Now part of the Williams-Sonoma family, the Portland, Oregon-based retailer was founded in 1977 as a small architectural salvage shop. Today, Rejuvenation's skilled artisans and craftspeople design and produce customized, made-to-order, handcrafted lighting in an 87,000-square-foot facility in Portland.
