With that in mind, we're welcoming Baby Foot Giant, 2019, to the Dallas Design District this spring. The striking blue sculpture of a massive baby — 13 feet long and 8 feet tall — seems perplexed by his oversized feet, but in essence they are symbolic of the shared path that we all must walk. Baby Foot Giant is the progeny of artist Idan Zareski, a self-taught French-Israeli sculptor who rarely sketches in advance of his creations, but rather lets his hands express freely. Billy Fong BABY BLUE D allas' Mark Marynick has inked a deal to buy Chicago's 136-year-old Decorators Supply. The company started as a carvers and guilders business in 1883 and has become one of the largest manufacturers of cast ornamental plaster in the country. Decorators Supply is the crown jewel in Marynick's expanding portfolio of artisanal companies, which includes century-old Casci Plaster. Decorators Supply's catalog includes thousands of copyrighted, historic designs for moldings, fireplaces, capitals, and furniture, and its handiwork adorns significant buildings, including the U.S. Capitol, the Smithsonian Institution, and the National Gallery of Art. decoratorssupply.com.
