Eleven of the city���s fab and philanthropic ��� including Gina Ginsberg, Norma Johnson, and Michael Wilson ��� formed the fashion police, and each strutted down the runway stunningly styled from NorthPark Center stores and boutiques. The Grand Pavilion at Market Center set the stage for Lela Rose, Terri Provencal, and Sue Wade, along with up-and-comers Khanh Nguyen, Bret Slater, Angela Scott, Beth Dotolo, Carolina Gentry, and Alex Remington, who were among those honored. The first-ever Shelly Musselman Design Award was presented to UNT student Cassandra Bumpous, who showcased her Forty Five Ten���sponsored collection. The turnout wasn���t the only number topping the charts ��� event chairs Megan and David Martinez, along with honorary chairs Mary and Mike Terry, helped generate an impressive $620,000 to support the needs of families, immigrants, refugees and seniors in North Texas. The evening started off with a bang, er, a banjo, which Martin played and signed. The instrument ultimately became one of the most vied-for auction packages, along with a private dinner with country legend and surprise guest Charley Pride, courtesy of Dean Fearing. After the bidding ended, Martin took to the stage and was met with a standing ovation after uttering the words, ���Tonight I���m going to talk about myself.
