T he reveal of The Kimiko and John Powers Collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, was truly cause for celebration. The couple began acquiring Japanese art in the 1960s, with a focus on Buddhist works, calligraphy and objets d���art; today the collection of 300 objects is revered for its exceptional depth and quality.
