BURNELL McCRAY / LAURA BURLTON Lens Love for HCP Bevin Bering Dubrowski Alison Fielder M ore than 325 auction-goers and artists converged at the Houston Center for Photography���s Fine Print Auction, including committed collectors who had indulged in a sneak peek the day before, at the auction preview led by Clint Willour of the Galveston Arts Center and Anne Tucker of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. During the main event, chairman Jereann Chaney presided over 83 offerings at the Junior League of Houston, where cocktails and dinner gave way to the lively live and silent auctions. A total of $148,000 was raised for HCP���s programming, including the top lot, The Decisive Moment (a rare book by iconic French photojournalist Henri Cartier-Bresson), which sold for a whopping $6,500.
