A Honoree Julie Dodson Scott Frances ny decorator worth his or her weight in swatches knows it���s all about maximizing every minute of every day. And so it was when the Houston design world assembled for Decorative Center Houston���s Spring Market and Stars of Design presentation. The chockablock day began with a keynote discussion exploring aesthetics across all media, moderated by PaperCity���s Holly Moore and Laurann Claridge, with panelists Lauren Rottet of Houston-based Rottet Studio, designer Blair Gordon, West Coast wunderkind Windsor Smith, and architectural lensman Scott Frances. Next up was decorator Bill Stubbs, host of his own PBS-TV show, Honoree Richard A Moment of Luxury. Rounding out Payne the day was the presentation of the Stars of Design and Stars on the Rise, bestowed by DCH owner Charles Cohen upon architectural photographer Richard Payne for lifetime achievement; artist Tierney Malone; photographer Geoff Winningham; designers Maria Bordelon, Chandos Dodson, Julie Dodson, Courtney Fertitta, Laura Umansky, Aaron Rambo, Amy Munger, and Elizabeth Munger; architects Curtis & Windham and James M. Evans; landscape design SWA Group and Jared Meinkowsky; jewelry designer Lauren Craft; and graphic designers Alan Krathaus and Fiona McGettigan.
