Dubbed The Purse Building for its ghost signage on the exterior, the six-story historic building is being transformed into an offi ce and retail center. "It's been fun to see the level of interest from urbanites and historians," Ragan tells PaperCity. The face of Partenope — the siren for whom the restaurant is named — glows above the door, temptation beckoning. Located in the historic Titche-Goettinger Building, photos from owner and chef Dino Santonicola's family line the walls. A hand-painted tile pizza oven is front and center in the open-concept kitchen, where you can see Santonicola baking Neapolitan pies. You're in a safe food space.
