Dickies Arena (named after the work-clothing brand) opens as a gleaming showcase for all of North Texas. While this new 14,000-seat venue was built in part to host Fort Worth's annual rodeo, this is anything but a place for cowboys and cattle. Fort Worth billionaire Ed Bass wouldn't stand for anything but the best.
