WILSON PARISH Come to the Table for The Beacon Co-chair Linda Bischoff Melanie Lawson Co-chair Carol Vickery A t The Beacon's second annual Come To The Table event, 350-plus guests helped co-chairs Linda Bischoff and Carol Vickery raise more than $300,000 for social programs benefitting Houston's homeless. The sold-out eve began in Nancy's Garden, adjacent to The Beacon, with hors d'oeuvres from BlackFinn American Grille, Canopy, Roost, Hearsay Gastro Lounge and other eateries. Next, chefs Randy Evans (Haven) and Claire Smith (Canopy, Shade) hosted a fourcourse dinner prepared by toques including Hugo Ortega (Backstreet Café, Hugo's), Anita Jaisinghani (Indika, Pondicheri), John Sheely (Mockingbird Bistro), and Dominic Juarez (Masraff's). Beacons of hope: honoree Lisa Rebori, recipient of a Beacon of Light award in memory of her late husband Andrew Rebori; Patrick Miller, who led the live auction; and foodies including City Councilman Steven Costello, Alex and Anthony Heins, Patrice and Johnny Heins, Christie and Kiel Garella, and Nicole and Jim Perdue.
