Cherry blossoms, tatami mats, kimonos, and a tiny primate called a macaque are among the inspirations for Moooi's new Tokyo Blue collection of wallpapers celebrating Japanese culture and nature. Made from denim, felted wool, embroidery, jute, raffia, and wood marquetry, the collection of five designs was created in collaboration with the Belgian brand Arte. It is now available in Texas, along with Moooi's Extinct Animals papers featuring graceful homages to such late and lamented species as the armored boar, the dodo, and bearded leopard.
