Now the largest living wall in North America is coming to Dallas, destined for 1899 McKinney Avenue — a new 26-story high-rise being built downtown. With more than 40,000 plants, this wonder of green will cascade down the side of the tower and culminate in a park. Rastegar Property is the company behind the new tower; the living wall is a very personal addition from Dallas-raised CEO Ari Rastegar. Making the city greener may be the ultimate perk. The college friends behind Poets — Marco Cavazos, Kelsi Cavazos, and Russell Hargraves — pivoted from the shop having limited online presence to bringing its entire community (book club included) online. Focusing on takeout and delivery to start, Aqua S brings Australian soft- serve — particularly its signature sea- salt fl avor — to one of Dallas' hottest growing neighborhoods. Unique fl avors include rose, Thai tea, crême brûlée, Jasmine milk tea, matcha, pandan, and taro. No one will mistake these chic-hued cones for basic vanilla. Read more at papercitymag.com/aqua.
