The new spot on the outskirts of downtown Dallas combines a speakeasy-style cocktail lounge and an exceptionally pink dining room. Inspired by London's Sketch restaurant and its Instagram-famous pink banquettes, the walls, booths, and murals in XOXO's dining room are swathed in blush pink with midnight-blue velvet chairs and gold fixtures. SIDEWALK STRENGTH SUPER THRILLS BURGER POWER The wooden outdoor seating space in front of Revelers Hall in Dallas' Bishop Arts District is hard to miss. The new "parklet" takes up an entire parking space. And although the idea of parklets (a cute name for extending sidewalk space into the street) feels new to Dallas, they've been in New York and San Francisco — which is credited with introducing the concept — for years. Most importan tly, parklets mean vital extra dining space. "We'd built a few parklets before," says Revelers Hall co-owner Jason Roberts.
