Soirée, where guests donned inspired retro and vintage attire to mingle amongst Pop Art re-creations of Warhol, Lichtenstein and Haring. Chairmen Katherine Veletsos and Denise Hazen pulled double-duty as hostesses, all in support of Young Audiences of Houston's arts in education programs and partnership with Texas Children's Hospital. Six-yearold cancer survivor Laurel Batchelder honored Mark Wallace, CEO and president of TCH, with the 2013 Arts Leadership Award. Hits from the Beatles and other '60sera phenoms provided the soundtrack for a lively evening that included HSPVA's concert dancers, with a solo from Johnny Gonzales backed by the Waltrip High School Jazz Band.
