HUNT SLONEM S ince all I can think about is Texas Design Week Dallas and Round Top Fall Antiques Show, let's talk about that. We're deep in the weeds with booking top designers to appear at TXDW Dallas, and we may have our most stellar list yet! Jump in the car or book on Vonlane, and work, read, or watch Netflix while you speed down 45. Packing their valises for Dallas: Ken Fulk, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Michael S. Smith, Alessandra Branca, Alexa Hampton, Corey Damen Jenkins, Juan Montoya, Robert Stilin, Celerie Kemble, Amanda Lindroth, Aldous Bertram, Christopher Rothko, Douglas Friedman, Ashley Whittaker, de Gournay's Hannah Cecil Gurney, Ted Flato of Lake | Flato, and Chesie Breen, as well as Dallas design royalty Todd Fiscus, Jan Showers, Doniphan Moore, Chad Dorsey, Cathy Kincaid, Michelle Nussbaumer, and John Phifer Marrs. Go to texasdesignweek. com for tickets and the complete schedule. As PaperCity continues to embrace Round Top and its thrice- yearly antiques and design shows (fall shows are October 14 through 31), The Halles, PaperCity and Round Top Publishers World Headquarters located in the antiques corridor of Round Top, has reimagined its hospitality pavilion as a VIP Lounge — a Round Top country club, of sorts. We've taken into account what's important during the shows: high-speed Wi-Fi, charging connections, spacious and clean restrooms (no Porta-Pottys here), plenty of table and lounge seating, full bar, and great food. Oh, and a Champagne Shack for afternoons. The margarita machine is buzzing, and live music and events are scheduled throughout the days and evenings. In fact, Benjamin Moore celebrates its national Color of the Year and the reveal of The Colors of Round Top at The Halles on Wednesday, October 27 (VIP ticket holders). For your VIP Pass, go to See you in the fields. Holly Moore Editor in Chief 16
