OCTOBER Ongoing Through October 17: Red & White Gallery shows "William Anzalone: New Work." October 21 – November 27, the gallery features "Mary Quiros: New Work." Open Fridays 4 – 7 pm, Saturdays 10 am – 7 pm, and by appointment. Saturday, October 9 5 – 9 pm: Royers Wine Extravaganza at Zapp Hall, Warrenton. Round Top Café hosts an evening of global vino with 20 samples from around the world. Small bites, live music, door prizes. Friday – Saturday, October 15 – 16 5 pm: Austin Cocktails sampling at Vincent Peach Market Hill. Shop and sip with the Nashville and Austin reps for Austin Cocktails. October 15 – 29 6 – 9 pm: Y Comida serves a Fall Showcase Dinner each evening during the show at Bader Ranch. Reservations recommended at Saturday, October 16 4 – 7 pm: Frank Martin Gilligan performs at Busted Oak Cellars. Saturday & Sunday, October 16 & 17 All day: Texas Arts & Music Festival in Brenham. Historic downtown Brenham transforms into an art Mecca with live mural artists, and street food. October 16 – 29 3 – 6 pm: The Arbors hosts happy hours and live music daily October 16 - 29. Music lineup: Season Ammons, Kristina Murray, Charles Johnson, Frank Giovetti, Frank & Gabriel, and Gabriel the Bull. Sunday, October 17 4 – 7 pm: RG Country performs at Busted Oak Cellars. bustedoakcellars. com. Tuesday & Wednesday, October 19 & 20 7 pm: The Cleverlys bring comedy and country music to The Kenney Store in back-to-back performances. Thursday, October 21 – Saturday, October 30 All day: Maker's Mart at The Arbors. Stop by the south entrance to shop handmade goods and fashion from Nashville, with live music, and coffee and cocktails from Jackson's Brew. A. Botts Willis offers custom hat design and fittings from her pink trailer. Ashlyn Evans features live embroidery and custom western wear; bring your favorite denim jacket, bandana, or shirt to be embroidered. Hunker Goods presents wares ranging from leather and canvas bags to hand-poured candles and home decor, and Three Wolves Trading unveils vintage Native American jewelry and custom-made pieces. Friday, October 22 7 pm – midnight: Denverado hosts '80s Nite in Zapp Hall Beer Garden. Prizes for best costumes, so don your leg warmers and gold lamé. Saturday, October 23 11 am – 2 pm: STT Round Top hosts a custom boot trunk show with Anderson Bean, Rios of Mercedes, and Olathe Boot Company. 4 – 7 pm: John Paul Ortiz performs live at Busted Oak Cellars.
