Love to Watch her Strut Raya Ramsey Claire Emanuelson Charlotte Tobin Marjon Zabihi Yvonne Crum Katie Aldrich DeeDee Lee Well-heeled ladies — and the loafers who adore them — take The Family Place to new heights. On the road again BY LACY BALL. PHOTOGRAPHY SHANA ANDERSON N Holly Krug Meredith Clavenna eiman Marcus Downtown became the stomping ground for more than 300 pumped-up fashion plates who took to the streets in support of The Co-chair Family Place during the 6th annual Lindsay Jacaman Stiletto Strut, with media partner PaperCity. Decked in saucy black cocktail dresses, vivacious co-chairs Jenifer Strauss, Lindsay Jacaman, and Stacy Girard led the stroll around the block of NM's flagship store, then remedied their mock exhaustion with spun sugar from Fluffpop and everyone's favorite cure-all: champagne. DJ Lucy Wrubel, who was ensconced in an elevated sound studio within shimmying distance of the Chanel accessories boutique, kept everyone on their well-shod feet. Phase II of the evening began when guests trotted over to The Joule Hotel's rooftop terrace, the site of the inaugural Loafer Lounge co-hosted by Bryan Curran, Todd Dannhauser, Chuck Jacaman, Jerry Rasansky, and Robert Weatherly. Here, DJs Jennifer Miller, Paul Paredes, and Nick Van House proved their merit, spinning crowd favorites well into the night. High steppers: newly arrived NM Downtown general manager Jeff Byron, Nicole Farrar, Barbara Buzzell, Yvonne Crum, Andrew Jacobson, Melissa Sherrill, Virginia and Allen Davis, Clint Chaffin, LeAndre Jones, Tess Nordick, Paige John Bobbitt, Darin Kunz, Jennifer Tobin, Westhoff Joyce Goss, Shelle Sills, Savannah Christian, Courtney Kerr, Nicki Patel, and Ricky Grunden. What are yours? "My Cinderella shoes — if Cinderella was only 5'2" and owned a bordello — would have to be a pair of Charlotte Olympia sky-high platform stilettos. They are black satin and have a hand-cut tiger on each vamp (with rhinestone eyes!). They are totally garish in a wonderful sort of way. I like to pair them with something more tame to bring the vampy vibe down a bit." — Stacy Girard "My red crystal Louboutins." — Maggie Kipp Farah Fleurima Dan Pritchett Jenifer Strauss "My red patent Valentino heels with the big bow on the toe … super painful but worth it!" — Lindsay Jacaman Shona Gilbert "A pair of Miu Miu glitter wedges that I will wear with anything … even shorts! They are very happy, sparkly shoes." — Sandy Moore "My 10-year-old daughter, Celese, says it best: 'Heels make everything an event.' But I do have a super-high pair of black lace Valentinos that go with everything and give me complete confidence no matter when or where I wear them." — Wanda Gierhart
