PRISCILLA DICKSON, MICHELLE WATSON Lunching and Launching with Legacy Honoree Jackson Hicks Chairmen Phoebe Tudor, Ceron L egacy Community Health Services has had a lot to celebrate recently. Its ninth annual luncheon at the Wortham Theater Center raised $230,000 for the nonprofit, which assists some 20,000 patients each year. In the tony crowd: chairmen Phoebe Tudor and Ceron; Jackson Hicks, who received the Legacy Leadership Award; Legacy's Chree Boydstun; Mayor Annise Parker; Lynn Wyatt; Milton Townsend; and Melissa and Michael Mithoff. Next, Legacy proudly inaugurated its newest facility, the Montrose Clinic. In addition to providing HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, the $12 million, 40,000-square-foot clinic will offer primary, eye and dental care.
