ROSWITHA VOGLER A Green Evening for RDA Tabitha Doby, Kristin Skarbovig Katie Plocheck T he Rice Design Alliance hosted 1,100 celebrants at its largest gala ever, a blacktie affair benefitting RDA and Cite: The Architecture + Design Review of Houston. Pink parachutes and loops of green were suspended from the ceiling of the Bayou City Event Center, while architectural enthusiasts enjoyed a seated dinner by Frankie B. Mandola's Catering and dancing to tunes by Doppelganger. Making an urban difference: chairmen Janna and Chuck Gremillion; Dan Leverett, VP of the night's honoree, The Woodlands Development Company, who accepted the award on behalf of founder George Mitchell; RDA president David Harvey and wife Mikki Hebl; Sandy Lynch; Kristin Skarbovig; Dallas Felder; and Mitchell/Woodland's team architect Robert Heineman.
