A s October heats up, so does the fall social season — and with it, a whirl of parties, galas, and luncheons. Partnering with the city's most meaningful philanthropic organizations is part of PaperCity's DNA ,and as we look to the month ahead, we couldn't be more grateful to help support (and party for) their causes. To make it easy on you and your datebooks, I've assembled a quick-hit list of all the fun PaperCity-sponsored happenings that take place this month. Save these dates, and we'll see you soon out on the town. Monday, October 10: Kappa Tablescapes By Candlelight. Major tablescape inspo from some of the city's best designers, florists, and retailers. Tuesday, October 11: Kappa Tablescapes Luncheon with Lela Rose. Our favorite hometown fashion designer pops in for lunch. Wednesday, October 12: Klyde Warren Park's Party in the Park celebrating 10 Years. Cocktails surrounding the new Nancy Best fountain? We're in. Thursday, October 13: Fashion Notes by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League featuring Lele Sadoughi and St. John. Talk about an afternoon of fun, fashion, and whimsical headbands. Friday, October 14: The Spirit of Taos benefiting the Wilkinson Center. Our favorite Southwestern-inspired fête. Saturday, October 15: Turn Up the Lights benefiting the AT&T Performing Arts Center. This fundraiser promises bright surprises. Tuesday, October 18: A Writer's Garden Literary Symposium and Luncheon benefiting the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. We can't wait to see The Right Honorable Countess of Carnarvon, who lives at Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey is based. Friday, October 21: Ruby Red Gala celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum. We'll get gala-ready for this big 4-0. Sunday, October 23: The Great Create benefiting Nasher Sculpture Center. We wouldn't miss this kid-friendly, art-filled afternoon. Tuesday, October 25: KidneyTexas Fashion Show and Luncheon. Tootsies is bringing the fashion for this always fabulous event. Friday, October 28: Booker T. Washington High School 100th Birthday Celebration at Music Hall at Fair Park. A century celebration worth singing about. We told you it was a whirl. Here's to a happy October — and, hopefully, a few nights off before the holiday onslaught of to-dos commences next month.
