condiments, and jellies, their praises sung by more than 80 national specialty food accolades. This fall, the beloved purveyor sells wine by the glass and bottle at Halle 3, where you'll discover a delightful outdoor seating area adjoining Amadi Carpets. Speaking of which, this third-generation carpet company was founded in Afghanistan, where it currently employs at many as 200 women hand-looming its artisanal carpets. Amadi brings a weaver's background and vision to contemporary carpets. Co-owner Taz Ahmadi brings a collection of designer and architect's favorites, featuring the Kyoto, Fiji, and Nomad lines. In dialogue with the texture and materiality of Amadi Carpets' natural fibers are Sabine Maes Art's canvases, textiles, and sheepskins. The Belgian-based painter is the ideal calling card for Round Top, with her reverence for Mother Earth, respect for the countryside, and use of raw ingredients from nature in her weaving and art making. Halle 4 welcomes its returning anchor, design haven M. Naeve. Founder Margaret Naeve is known for her unerring eye; extraordinary, understated interiors that whisper with importance; and her shop brimming with a collection of mid-century furniture along with elevated designs by significant contemporary creators. Another celebrated denizen of design, Carol Piper Rugs, exhibits at Halle 4, showcasing antique, vintage, and new in the domestic market. Our shared platform of makers has grown to more than 75 studios across the country — innovators who dedicate their days to handcrafting quality objects using sustainable practices." Also holding court in Halle 2 are returning bijoux retailers Heather Benjamin for nomadic jewelry and Covet Aspen's modern jewelry. Read more about Halle 3 on page 46. You'll want to beeline first to Fischer & Wieser's Texana food emporium, one that dates back nearly a century to the Fredericksburg-founded farmstead's original peach orchard. Flash forward to today, and from a modest roadside fruit stand opened in 1969, F&W now stocks 150 sauces, rugs, textiles, and pillows. Founder Carol Piper, an authority in the rug world, brings knowledge spanning six decades, sourcing rare rugs and textiles from the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Neighboring M. Naeve and Carol Piper Rugs is Christopher Martin Gallery, a returning exhibitor contributing to The Halles' thrilling art wave. The gallery features founder Christopher Martin's ongoing "Solaris Disc Collection" of reverse-painted acrylic panels inspired by both marble and petrified wood; Steve Wrubel's dramatic photographic odes to horse and rider; the environmentally inspired photography of the earth's surface by Kevin Krautgartner; majestic big African cats captured by Mital Patel; Monica Perez's emotionally charged black-and-white abstracts; and Ysabel LeMay's hyperreal floral photographic collages seemingly plucked from paradise.
