Design Week Dallas TEXAS INSIDE A RECAP OF FIVE DESIGN- FILLED DAZE PART 2 By Lisa Collins Shaddock. Photography Jonathan Zizzo and Jordan Geibel. JEAN-LOUIS DENIOT AT SCHUMACHER T exas Design Week Dallas hit a high note with cocktails and illustrated talk and book signing with Paris' Jean- Louis Deniot, one of the world's most recognized figures in design and architecture. In conversation with Frederic Magazine design editor Hudson Moore, Deniot —discussed all things wanderlust. The designer — who says he doesn't own a television — is intent on making the most of life. "We only have 24 hours in a day, and I like those 24 hours to be as captivating as possible," he said. While his new book, Destinations: Jean-Louis Deniot (Rizzoli), was delayed on the docks in NYC, Deniot signed custom bookplates to be placed in personally delivered copies. Schumacher's Lori Haspel welcomed Annie King, Henri Braun, Chris Richardson, Hannah Gant, Haleigh Stout, Mary Meade Holloway, Shawn McDorman, Jed Graham, Gazston Santos, Jennifer Lloyd, Cameron Drinkwater, Mary Lambrakos, Sydney Harlow, Sara See, Susan Bednar Long, Coy Barton, Philip Vanderford, Robin Blumenthal and Grace Peters.
