MORE IS MORE IS MORE AT OKA M ore is truly more, when it means hearing from designers Carl Dellatore, Mark D. Sikes, and Philip Gorrivan and marveling at images from Dellatore's newest tome, More is More is More: Today's Maximalist Interiors (Rizzoli). Sikes and Gorrivan — who both have works featured in the book, joined the author onstage at OKA for an illustrated talk on all things maximalist. OKA's Beret Evenstad and Aran Winterbottom welcomed Scott Maltzman, Susan Bailey, Lynsay Quinn, Meagan Chapman, Shawna Kuykendall, Hannah White, Stephen Hoyl, Cathy Russell, Trish Sheats, Tracy McNeese, Kim Dinota, Elton Dinga, Jamie Moskovitz, Andrea Guay, Marie Veit, Mona Jain, Natalie Butler, and Trista Womble. MIMOSAS AND NEW COLLECTIONS AT JAMES SHOWROOM J ames Showroom turned into a chic show-and-tell — complete with mimosas — with 10 of its textile designers appearing for a morning of mingling. James owners Meredith and Hunter Ellis along with Craig O'Dell welcomed dynamic designers Alessandra Branca, Susan Crater (Sister Parish), Serena Dugan, Peter Dunham, Lisa Fine, Alex Mason (Ferrick Mason), Caitlin McGauley, Clay McLaurin and Todd Piercy (McLaurin & Piercy), Alexandra Morrall (Mahala Textiles) and Leah O'Connell, along with a full house of design enthusiasts.
