D esigner Melissa Gerstle landscaped the front lawn to be in symmetry with the uniquely shaped house. A wall of 12-foot shrubs backed New York artist Carolyn Salas' Gone sculpture, a powder-coated aluminum work that depicts a woman fleeing. Poufs and sofas by Brown Jordan and Sutherland surrounded the sculpture, while a nearby seating area was draped with lanterns. Sphinx structures and an antique French fountain were sourced from Pittet Architecturals, while a newly constructed fireplace beckons guests during cooler months. In place of a former pool shed, Fiscus crafted something dear to his heart, a folly, to create balance in the side yard, filled with textiles from Perennials and Morris & Co. "My mom passed away in May, so I named all of this after her," he says. "She loved blue and white." Peninsula dining tables, Neo chaise lounge chairs, Dickinson hoofed side tables; cantilever umbrella, John Himmel sofa, and Louis armless chairs in pool folly, all from David Sutherland.
