Drake's glamorous mid-century furniture and home decor were central casting for an event based on the popular Apple TV series, which is set in late-1960s Palm Beach. Pour La Vie beverage bar mixed up Palm Royale-themed cocktails including the grasshopper (crème de cacao, crème de menthe, and half-and-half), the Royale margarita (Socorro Blanco, lime, strawberry, and basil), and the Southside (gin, mint, and lemon). A front-porch chat with Traditional Home magazine editor Krissa Rossbund was a highlight. As the party-barn doors rolled open, guests were greeted with cocktails, country music by vocalist Cory Brooks, and a sea of Hoegger's signature shade of coastal blue. The menu, by Burton restaurateur Tammie Mills of Blue Willow Café, began with a hearty arugula and white bean salad with prosciutto, then segued into the main course of roasted chicken topped with tarragon cream sauce.
