E mily Summers is as passionate about architecture and art as she is about interiors. Summers is a member of the AD 100 with interiors published nationally in AD, Veranda, Wallpaper, and Town & Country. Her book Distinctly Modern Interiors celebrates American modernism. She's a past director of exhibitions and funding for the Dallas Museum of Art, and President George W. Bush recruited her to serve on the Washington- based Advisory Council for Historic Preservation. Summers and her husband, Steve Summers, own a '60-era house at the Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells, California, near Palm Springs. RS Design shops.
