GONZALO BUENO Ten Plus Three I 've always identified with the Barcelona chair by Mies van der Rohe because I love the clean lines and how comfortable it is. I feel like it can be casual with leather and buttons, but also formal when mixed with the right furniture. It's a classic that will never go out of style. Just as with my design work, I plan it to be as timeless as the Barcelona chair. EMILY SUMMERS Emily Summers Design Associates I love the T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings Saridis of Athens Klismos chair. Robsjohn- Gibbings drew inspiration from an ancient Greek vase painting and recreated the classical Greek chair using natural walnut and leather. It's sculpted to fit the body and very comfortable. Klismos chairs are my own dining chairs. MICHELLE NUSSBAUMER Ceylon et Cie I don't necessarily like the idea of being sat on, but if I had to be a chair, it would be the ceremonial chair from the tomb of Tutankhamun, circa 1332 BC. I love the carved feline arms. Mies van der Rohe and his Barcelona chair Klismos chair 69
