RIEBELING PROPERTIES: ROUND TOP SPONSORED PARTNER INSIDE VIEW A reconnection with a long- lost high school s w e e t h e a r t brought Houston native Andrea Riebeling to Round Top some 15 years ago. Before making the move to his inherited property in the Texas countryside, Riebeling had spent three decades as a New York-trained hair and makeup artist in Hollywood. She has painted the faces and coiffed the locks of A-listers such as Tom Hanks and Céline Dion and has done work for Vogue magazine and HBO. After her wedding and a few years of commuting for freelance hair and makeup gigs, she began working as a realtor in Fayette, Austin, and Washington Counties and beyond. For nearly a decade, she has helped clients find their dream properties. "I love people and working with the public, so real estate was a perfect segue," she says. "I truly enjoy helping people find that perfect home, vacation rental, or commercial venue." Over the course of her career, Riebeling has garnered awards from the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society and the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, among others, and was named a Christie's International Luxury Real Estate Top Producer. "I've learned something from each of the brokerages I've worked with, and they taught me to be a better agent," says Riebeling, who recently went out on her own by earning her broker's license. Her new venture, Riebeling Properties, is off to a running start, with six listings ranging from the upper six figures to $3.7 million. "As a broker, I have access to analytics and information I didn't before," she says. She's also an expert on local topography, the intricacies of farm and ranch properties, and oil and gas mineral rights. When she's not running the roads, helping clients buy and sell properties, she writes the "Positively Inspirational" column for The Fayette County Record. In her spare time, Riebeling enjoys spending time at home with her husband, their white Labrador, Glory, and dabbling in art projects in her studio. She also sponsors, volunteers, and donates to local organizations including the Round Top Festival Institute, Round Top Family Library, Round Top Chamber of Commerce, and the local Lions Club.
