learn some tidbits that could come in handy if cocktail-party conversation ever veers towards politics or simply goes stale. Throw this out there: In the year the Gucci Horsebit loafer emerged, 1953, "That's Amore" was #1 on the charts, New York City installed its first tricolor traffic lights, and Gucci opened its first American boutique, also in New York. It was the year that marked the passing of the founder, Guccio Gucci, and the year when his sons set up the first factory and launched a shoe in homage to their father. Guccio Gucci loved all things equestrian, so they adorned their loafer with a horsebit. It's such an important part of fashion history that in 1973, the Metropolitan Museum of Art welcomed the shoe into its permanent collection. I am once again in a new chapter of my life — single. I've been contemplating age- appropriate suitors. For a septuagenarian, the Gucci Horsebit loafer is still playful, endlessly attractive, and ready for any occasion. When considering Assisted Living or Memory Care for a family member or loved one, look no further than The Tradition. Our family-owned company is proud to provide residents hospitality and exceptional amenities in a luxury environment – where beauty is just the beginning. Here is what one family member has to say about their own experience: "When we were searching for an appropriate senior living community, there were a few things that were non-negotiable to us. We wanted our mother-in-law to be safe, we wanted her to be close to where we live, and we wanted to know that she would feel loved and supported. The Tradition fulfills all of our expectations; they care about her as a person, and she is not just a patient on the floor. They deeply care about her and it really makes a difference." I hope that when decisions are being made about residency, The Tradition is what first comes to mind. Please make an appointment to tour our beautiful community, meet residents and staff firsthand, and learn more. I look forward to welcoming you home!
