COURTNEY HILL FERTITTA Courtney Hill Interiors A Bonacina 1889 lounge chair, as it's handcrafted and stands the test of time — a work of art that's inviting, comfortable, and versatile. ANITA SMITH Webb Design Interiors I would be a vintage Wassily chair. It's a strong-looking chair but is actually comfortable when you get to know it. It's banded or disciplined in all the right places! Louis XV and his chair DAVID BUCEK Stern and Bucek Architects I would be a seating component in a Safari imperial sofa. Designed in 1968 by the Italian collective Archizoom Associati for Poltronova, this fiberglass above-ground conversation pit with faux-fur leopard- patterned upholstery was one of many European furniture classics first introduced to North America by Stendig. With multiple seating configurations, being part of something larger than just an individual component with a focus on interaction is intriguing. OLIVIA PERSIA Olivia Persia Design D onald Judd chair #84/85. This chair encompasses all the things I aspire to be personally and professionally: timeless, consistent, precise, beautiful. MEG LONERGAN Meg Lonergan Interiors I would love to be a Louis XVI chair. These chairs are known for symmetry, clean lines, and restrained decoration; the classic shape has never been out of style. The legs are usually straight or fluted to resemble Roman or Greek columns, elegantly tapering to the floor. Classic, elegant, dressy, and inviting — I could find a home for these chairs in every project I work on. 40
