K nown for their colorful, bohemian aesthetic (and seven children), husband-and-wife duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz have designed a wide range of projects, from boutique hotels and residential interiors to furniture collections. Now they're introducing their first outdoor lighting collection, a collaboration with British brand Pooky Lighting, which made waves in 2024 with its patterned shades and rechargeable lamps. The 14-piece collection is cordless and designed for al fresco entertaining, with unexpected hues such as blush pink and moss green. The Stefan lanterns come in three sizes and can be arranged on the ground, perched on tables, or hung overhead from coordinating hooks. Also in the lineup are jute basket pendants, wall sconces, floor and table lamps, and lamp shades in The Novogratz's signature Antonine fabric. Finishing touches include mirrors, solar light strings, and dinner candles. Pooky Lighting X The Novogratz at pooky.com, thenovogratz.com. The Novogratz A Feat F or years, Alex Matisse sidestepped the weight of his famous surname, choosing instead to build the North Carolina pottery company East Fork on his terms. Co-founded with John Vigeland in 2009, the brand has long forged its own identity, separate from the Matisse name. But with the debut of the Matisse Collection, the great-grandson of Henri Matisse has finally embraced that legacy, translating the artist's iconic designs onto plates, mugs, and platters crafted from clays sourced across the American Southeast. Inspired by Matisse's ceramic works, the pottery features aquatint-style surface decoration techniques and are drawn from Nu bleu, Bédouine au grand voile, Nadia au regard sérieux, and Le Platane. A permanent addition to East Fork's evergreen line of heirloom pottery, the collection marks a rare collaboration with Les Héritiers Matisse, the family estate known for its selective licensing of the artist's work, with the project timed to coincide with the 2025 copyright expiration.
