A Night at the After-Hours Exploration and Food-Fueled Fascination at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science PAPERCITY PROMOTION W ho: Shelly and Michael Dee chaired t h e P e r o t Museum of Nature and Science's largest annual fundraiser, Night at the Museum, which honored two original founding donors: Shelly's parents, Sally and Forrest Hoglund. Highlights: At this popular event, you choose your own adventure, with free rein to explore the museum and its many delights after-hours — with a Mambo Taxi in hand. Wolfgang Puck Catering's 10-minute restaurant returned after a roaring success last year, transforming the gift shop into a culinary adventure. Other highlights included the Motion of Mac macaroni-and-cheese station, Living Crudité Bar, and Off the Bone action station. The event raised more than $2 million to support the museum's financial aid programs, which provide field trips, outreach, and discounted admission and memberships for thousands of people annually.
