Moment: United Way of Metropolitan Dallas commemorated its 100th anniversary with a historic Centennial Celebration that brought together more than 30,000 community champions to honor a century of impact across North Texas. This milestone year also recognized the record-breaking 2024– 2025 Annual Campaign. Highlights: Designed by Todd Events, the celebration kicked off with the Taste United Food & Wine Festival powered by Vistra before guests gathered for the Patron Dinner presented by Kimberly-Clark. The evening welcomed honorary chair Barbara Pierce Bush; Dallas sports legends Darren Woodson, Rolando Blackman, Marty Turco, and Ferguson Jenkins; and Mary and Rich Templeton, who were presented with the 2025 J. Erik Jonsson Award, United Way's highest volunteer honor. Guests then headed into the Cotton Bowl for an electrifying tribute by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Janet Jackson and country superstar Blake Shelton.
