When owner Michael Savino cut the ribbon on Michael's Cookie Jar, hoards of cookie monsters were waiting for their fresh- from-the-oven homemade treats. Sweetest of all, a percentage of the afternoon's proceeds went to Big Brothers Big Sisters' 60th anniversary. Sugar mamas: Chocolate Pizazz co-owner Jeri Wolff, Sparkle Anderson of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Maru Medina- Hollman. Taste buds tingled yet again when Oulala! What an Event teamed with chef Vladimir Smirnov for sliders and shakes to inaugurate their new offices. Guests also savored delicious creations from Southern Ice Cream and Sarah and Emily Giffin's Little Miss Cupcake, with the '50s-themed evening benefitting Search, an organization that helps the homeless move from the streets to a stable workplace.
