W hen design royalty descends on Round Top, a signed copy of their latest book feels less like a purchase and more like a coveted keepsake. It's best practice to always acquire a signed volume for your design library — or, in the case of Red Antler owners Greg Fourticq and John Cone, who hosted three designers during the spring show, to supplement the library at their property's picturesque James Cabana at Red Antler Bungalows. Prior to the PaperCity Designer Dinner at The Halles, James Cabana and cabana boys Cone and Fourticq served preprandial cocktails while Alexa Hampton and Jenn Gracie signed their books Alexa Hampton: Design, Style & Influence (Clarkson Potter) and The Art of Gracie: Handpainted Wallpapers, Timeless Rooms (Rizzoli) — the latter, a fabulous oversized volume with a cover in a custom Gracie design. With signed books tucked under their arms and Stetsons atop their heads, guests then made their way to Designer Dinner honoring the duo.
