PRIMAL DREAM M Tom Ford, 50 Highland Park Village, 214.854.3970; tomford.com YOU BETTER WATCH OUT Eiseman Jewels Rolex shop, NorthPark Center, 214.369.6100; eisemanjewels.com W hile others may commemorate important milestones with a flute of Cristal, Eiseman Jewels celebrates its 50th anniversary by opening a new Rolex shop at NorthPark Center mid-month. Decked out with a private viewing area and a complete service center, the 800-square-foot space is connected to mother-ship Eiseman Jewels by an internal breezeway. Horological buffs can peruse more than 100 Rolex models with an unprecedented number of dial options; all may be had with complimentary engraving. New introductions include The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona (first launched 50 years ago), now introduced with a heavenly ice-blue dial and chestnut brown lacquered markers. Those lucky enough to get their hands on the new platinum and ceramic anniversary Daytona will know the true meaning of precious time. Lauren Scheinin A SMASH LANDING F Brunello Cucinelli, 46 Highland Park Village, 214.520.9500; brunellocucinelli.com orget upgrades and complimentary champagne. Style-savvy frequent flyers wouldn't dream of hitting cruising altitudes swathed in anything but cashmere bearing the Brunello Cucinelli label. And with the arrival of a new 2,100-square-foot boutique in Highland Park Village, we anticipate that this venerable Italian brand will truly take off. Store manager Jamie Swartz presides over its hushed interior, the perfect environment in which to view the men's, women's and lifestyle offerings. Fall's donne collection proves no one does the borrowed-from-the-boys look better: scuba-style tuxedo jackets, darted trousers, jersey pea coats, and embellished combat boots share the spotlight with traditionally feminine flowing tunics and wraparound maxiskirts. For the gents, look for a wide assortment of short, slim-fit singlebreasted coats in cashmere beaver or double wool, trousers in three fits (super slim, slim and basic), shaker knits and cap-toed oxfords. Neutral-hued decorative pillows, boxes, stash boxes and candles bring this look of low-key luxury home. Amy Adams ost of us will admit to a fantasy involving Tom Ford. From there, we can be divided between two camps: whether said daydream entails being dressed by the designer … or undressed by him. Yes, Ford himself elicits a certain amount of breathlessness in both genders, but it's the new 5,000-square-foot namesake boutique in Highland Park Village that has currently elevated heart rates. Step past the black metal and glasspaneled exterior into a dark and polished sanctuary laden with anthracite-hued walls, white marble floors, sparkling chrome and nickel fixtures, silk carpeting, Makassar ebony doorways, a beyondglamorous mirrored fireplace and soaring 12-foot ceilings — a look very similar to his Beverly Hills location. Inside you'll discover cosmetics, perfume and scents, eyewear, handbags, footwear Tom Ford and, of course, his inimitable men's and women's collections. The women's wear salon houses his entire range of readyto-wear, eveningwear and shoes while the men's suiting and sportswear area (with a beaver rug and a Calder mobile) also encompasses the complete made-tomeasure service. We can't wait to get our hands on all of it. Amy Adams
