So it was when Tenenbaum & Co. — purveyor of exquisite estate and fine bijoux since 1976 — literally rolled out the red carpet, as well as a show-stopping party tent complete with velvet ropes attended by a pair of door men who rigorously checked the guest list. The evening was billed as "Tickled Pink" in deference to its show-stopper: an 18K pink-gold ring boasting a 6.65-carat pear-shaped diamond — a natural, fancy, light-brownish-pink stone with VVS2 clarity, GIA. Presiding over this splendid bauble bash were the Tenenbaum & Co. owners, Tony Bradfield and Kevin Black, joined by founder Louis Tenenbaum and his wife Kim.
