Tapped to chair Fort Worth's 58th annual Jewel Charity Ball, Kearney showed off both aptitudes during her evening themed "Kaleidoscope," featuring the sounds of all music eras and benefitting Cook Children's Health Care System. "Elaine Agather and I like to say we have one foot on one side of the Trinity River and one foot on the other," said chairman Kearney of their dual Dallas and Rick Merrill Fort Worth citizenships. In a gold Naeem Khan gown, she, along with husband Jeff Kearney, effortlessly converged philanthropists and talent from the east and west side of the Trinity, as well as an international presence from London-based jeweler House of Graff, to assist in raising more than $3 million for the children's hospital.
