WILSON PARISH A Garden of Earthly Delights for The Beacon New Orleans Auction Galleries Co-chairmen JJ Stevak, Sam Stephens Carleta Sandeen T he third annual Come to the Table Gala, benefitting The Beacon, found the perfect recipe: local celebrity chefs whipping up culinary creations for the cause, at an alfresco fête at Nancy's Garden. With a dash of dancing and a helping of raffle items and grab bags, topped off by a four-course dinner prepared by Haven's Randy Evans and Shade and Canopy toque Claire Smith, the event raised more than $350,000 to help The Beacon restore dignity and hope to Houston's poor and homeless. Also offering their charitable cookery were John Sheely, Kevin Naderi, Ziggy Gruber, Hugo Ortega, Dominic Juarez, Anita Jaisinghani, BlackFinn American Grille, Emily Nelson Catering and Sage 400.
