The "Take Flight"themed black-tie event had supporters and honorees Lucia and Michael Cordúa, along with David Cordúa, sipping on cocktails while enjoying the lofty vocals of talents including Camille Zamora, co-founding director of Sing For Hope. Once guests had their trays in the upright and locked position, the Cloud Nine after-party, chaired by Christian Alvarado and Jose Marquez, commenced. The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts was given a sky-high transformation for the stratospheric soirée, and guests celebrated reaching their $350,000 fund-raising goal for those living with HIV/AIDS. Going first-class: Cara and Michael Rudelson, Dan Snare, Ann Reed, Elizabeth Wilson, Caroline Starry and Jared LeBlanc, Gene Wu, Mayor Annise Parker, and Kathy Hubbard.
