MARCH | PAGE 23 | 2014 Tayler: Gregg. He's sooo darn difficult and particular and set in his Gregg ways! I'd love to shop for him, because I totally get him and know what he likes. But I'd want to take him out of his comfort zone and do something that's totally not Gregg, like put him in brogues or smoking slippers. Can you imagine? Gregg not in heels? COFFEE-TABLE BOOKS: WHICH DO YOU COVET? WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE AT HOME? Gregg: Anything Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen write is perfect for me (their book Influence). Also, Punk: Chaos to Couture, as I loved the exhibit at the Met. And, don't forget Domestic Art: Curated Interiors (it's in our building's lobby). I love my book collection, so it's hard to narrow down. Tayler: My favorite and most treasured piece is a Valentino fashion photography book, personally signed by Mr. Valentino as a thank- you gift. It's almost like a scrapbook — it's incredible. My 90th anniversary copy of French Vogue with Lara Stone on the cover when Carine Roitfeld was still editor in chief — phenomenal. Coveted books: French Style, Paris in the 1920s, Elie Saab and Nine Centuries in the Heart of Burgundy: The Cellier aux Moines & Its Vineyards. I'm a hardcore Francophile. FAVORITE HOME DESIGN OBJECT. Gregg: One of my best friends is George Sellers. He is always gifting us pieces from his collection for special occasions that I adore. Also, art is a passion, and we have a photography piece by Mark Seliger from a Balenciaga layout that looks very retro. Tayler: A black-and-white photography piece by Rebecca Plotnik of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, but from a chandelier's perspective. Also, a late- 19th-century antique bibliothèque. I love books and history, so this is the best of both worlds. FAVORITE SPRING/ SUMMER 2014 COLLECTIONS. Gregg: Stella McCartney, because I always can find pieces for me that are a closet must. I love the patterns, prints and shapes, and especially love the lemon-yellow snake-print bomber. Tayler: Delpozo. They are the label to watch. Obsessed with their attention to detail and intricate design work. Very artistic yet very feminine. Their creative director, Josep Font, is so talented and is really breathing new life into the fashion world. I thought Peter Pilotto's collection was fun, bright and bold. Everything you want for spring and summer. And, of course, Chanel. I love the colors (brights and pastels), the fabrics, the textures, the proportions. Lots of fresh takes on classic Chanel. Love that. DESIGNER GARB IN YOUR CLOSET. Gregg: Everything — I don't wear it if it's not designer. Tayler: Unlike Mr. Gregg, I do have lots of non-designer. I love mixing high-low and make my look fashion forward yet approachable. However, my closet is stocked with the goods! Hermès, Chanel, Balenciaga, The Row, Givenchy, Dior, Isabel Marant, Céline, Fendi, Alaïa, Roger Vivier, Rag & Bone … but I have plenty of J. Crew, Zara and the Gap mixed in. PROM NIGHT: TELL ME ABOUT YOUR OUTFIT. WHAT SONG REMINDS YOU OF THAT NIGHT? Gregg: 1993. I wore an oversized bright fuchsia jacket with matching cummerbund with black pants and shiny black patent-leather penny loafers (all rental, of course) from Guy's Tuxedo in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Of course, I'm probably the only guy who rented that particular color and style. The song was "Whoomp There It is" by Tag Team — need I say more?! Tayler: Gunmetal-pewter strapless Laundry by Shelly Siegel gown with matching BCBG strappy sandals. I thought I was decked out. Ha! My prom was the year 2000, so that's when all the boy bands and Disney kids were big — not my music style at all. Prom night was Nelly's "Country Grammar," Ludacris' "What's Your Fantasy," Destiny's Child's "Say my Name" and Filter's "Take a Picture." I just wanted to dance! YOU CAN SIT FRONT ROW AT ANY RUNWAY SHOW. WHICH ONE, AND WHO WOULD BE SITTING NEXT TO YOU? Gregg: I attended some of the couture shows in Paris with my good friend Angie Barrett last year and was able to attend the Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino shows and got to sit front row — I cried. We didn't get to go to Maison Martin Margiela, which I would love to attend at some point. I want to go back with her again to have one more round at the George V and for another topless trip to Le Crazy Horse Saloon. Tayler: Chanel Haute Couture, because it's so incredibly iconic, impossible and fantasy worthy. Sitting next to me would be my husband, Erik, because he's my best friend and I don't like sharing anything important without him. And, because he could totally appreciate it. BLOGS, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER. WHOM DO YOU FOLLOW? WHO KEEPS YOU AMUSED? Gregg: Even though I do a blog myself (fashion baggage.com), I don't read a ton of others. I prefer Instagram and Twitter, because they are quicker. Some of my favorites to follow are @miraduma, @annadellorusso, @usweekly (for a little trash) and @lifetimetv, because it's in the family. Tayler: To be honest, I don't read any blogs except the occasional piece from The Cut of New York magazine. I don't like to be influenced by other writers and their opinions. I like to keep my thoughts fresh, authentic and mine. I have Twitter but never read it, although I do follow all the main fashion publications and design houses. I'm a bit of an Instagram junky. I love photography, so I can easily lose myself in pictures. This is Glamorous, Victoria Beckam. Olivia Palermo, Blair Eadie, Ivanka Trump, Nicole Richie … a few of my faves. IF YOU COULD JOIN A CURRENT REALITY TV SHOW, WHICH ONE? Gregg: I would fit in perfectly with Duck Dynasty, because they look and act like my silly family — and, believe it or not, I've killed my share of wildlife. Plus, they have the highest ratings for a reality TV show. Tayler: I wouldn't! Reality TV work is exhausting. I don't think I could take another show unless it was ours. IF THERE IS A SECOND SEASON, WHY WE SHOULD WATCH? Gregg: For more shopping, drama, celebrities, cities and, most importantly, for G&T. Tayler: More fashion! More behind-the-scenes drama and watching Gregg and I really go to work. We're so crazy together, and so much of that was filmed for the first season that didn't make it to air. Hopefully, season two will showcase more of our shenanigans. Top: On Tayler: Chanel shoes, J. Crew Collection blazer, Rag & Bone jeans, Hermès belt, Rolex watch, Cartier rings, Hermès bangle and vintage hat; all her own. On Gregg: Charlotte Olympia shoes, J.
