Holly Hunt Showroom Opening Fête ON THE HUNT FOR DIVINE INSPIRATION RENOVATED, REVAMPED AND ROARING to go, the newly minted Holly Hunt Showroom was the hot spot for designers as the lady of the hour (aka the showroom's namesake) welcomed clients, family and friends to an evening of celebration. Guests checked out the fresh new space, which was previously home to Brunschwig & Fils, and perused collections by Gary Lee, Nathalie Grenon, Knoll Luxe, Design Caste and, of course, Hunt herself. The Chicago-based designer — a Texas native — maintains seven other showrooms in the U.S., as well as locations in Brazil and London, with plans to open a Houston store in the near future. The new to-the-trade showroom was christened with frozen white cosmos and champagne, as well as sumptuous hors d'oeuvres from Nick & Sam's. Guests including Gonzalo Bueno, Robyn Menter, Kay Genua, Angie West, and Pam Kelley talked shop and enjoyed the musical set provided by singer-songwriter Charlie Sexton, who had just returned from a European tour with Bob Dylan. Everyone left the night in good spirits, sporting bracelets made from Holly Hunt leather.
