I f any design deity in town is perfectly suited to host New York decorator Vicente Wolf, it's the dapper George Cameron Nash. The event was a most stylish soirée and book signing for Wolf's latest tome, The Four Elements of Design (Rizzoli), at Nash's Dallas Design District showroom. Even the waiters were well-dressed, wearing white serving jackets monogrammed with GCN, as they passed flute after flute of champagne. After the flurry of fans (Noel McDoniel, Jose Dones, Angela Williams, Julie Stryker, Dawn Bergan, Lauren Holden, Beverly Field, Emily Moon, Angela Valero, Neal Stewart, Justin Moon, Ike Isenhour, Andy Weis, and Michelle Meredith) had their books inked, a coterie of friends was ushered to Nash's new, seriously glamorous high-rise home for a spot-on, après-dinner chat with Wolf. AS IT IS IDIOSYNCRATIC, FILLED WITH BELONGINGS THAT REFLECT HIS CLIENTS' BELIEFS, THEIR INTERESTS, THEIR GOALS, AND, INDEED, THEIR LIVES. HIS WORK IS AS POLISHED By Jane Rozelle.
