P er James Bond's immortal decree, the martinis were shaken, not stirred. And the big fashion statement at Longoria Collection was pure Anthony Sinclair. Sean Connery's favorite tailor for 007 took over a corner of the luxury home goods emporium for several days of fittings and introductions. David Mason — whose London firm, Mason & Sons, revived the British label Anthony Sinclair in 2012 — regaled guests with tales of Connery's affection for Sinclair's bespoke Conduit cut. "The shoulders are very natural," he said. "There isn't much padding but they have a very nice shape. It's what Anthony Sinclair called 'drape and shape.' There is suppression in the waist, a little bit of flare in the seat, and you get this hour-glass shape. In Connery's case, he had quite an impressive physique." The Houston introduction came via criminal defense attorney (and Bond aficionado) Zack Fertitta, who owns several of the carefully tailored suits. Fertitta is married to Elizabeth Dorsey Fertitta, whose mother, Sylvia Dorsey, owns Longoria Collection. So, as Mason himself might say, this was a perfect fit.
