21 C hez Casa Summers, guests celebrated Paltrow's brief return to Dallas (she last breezed into town in 2014 when her first Goop pop-up debuted in HP Village, and she left town this time as soon as dinner ended), as well as the 70th anniversary of Cointreau's Original Margarita, which Dallas socialite Margarita Sames fashioned in the 1940s. In addition to the other goods, there's a chic Cointreau margarita bar inside Paltrow's Dallas boutique. GP wasn't the only out-of-town, high-profile guest: For the al fresco soirée, James Beard Award-nominated New York chef Seamus Mullen crafted dishes of wild snapper crudo and grilled striped bass, while ice cream entrepreneur Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams served her famous desserts. Cointreau cocktails flowed throughout the evening. Word on the street was that it was a slow start the next morning for many ladies and gents in attendance. EDITOR'S NOTE: Worried you may have missed out on the Goop fun? Fret not. By popular demand, the HP Village pop-up shop, originally set to close in late June, has extended its Dallas stay through the end of the year.
