letter publisher 24 JONATHAN ZIZZO S pring has sprung! Our March issue is here, and it's filled with fabulous fashion and bright and sunny interiors. With the drizzly and chilly months behind us, we are officially out of hibernation — ready to shop, dine, and partake in all the exciting events the social whirl has to offer. The spring season kicks off at The Bomb Factory for Big Thought's gala on Saturday, March 2, when Deedie Rose, Michael Sorrell and Jose "Bone" Garcia will be receiving this year's awards. The social calendar continues to buzz with an action-packed week, beginning with DIFFA on Saturday, March 16th, featuring television personality Caron Kressley and comedian Dana Goldberg. It's always a rowdy to-do, and we can't wait for the runway spectacle packed with the latest looks from Traffic LA, Forty Five Ten, and TenOverSix. The evening continues with an exclusive after-party with DJ Lucy Wrubel. On Monday, March 18, we'll celebrate Margot Perot and J. Davis Hamlin at TACA's Silver Cup Award Luncheon, and later that week on Friday, March 22, we'll grab a grown-up juice box and raise a toast to Recess! The signature event for Dallas Afterschool raises funds to improve the quality and availability of after-school and summer programs. It doesn't end there: That same weekend, PaperCity is honored to be a part of The Aging Mind Foundation's fifth annual gala, held at The Joule Saturday, March 23, and benefitting Yale University's Cellular Neuroscience, Neurodegeneration, and Repair program. Rounding out the month is Art in Bloom, benefitting the Dallas Museum of Art, on Sunday, March 31. Art in Bloom is always the perfect way to get in the spirit of spring, with floral designer Françoise Weeks jetting in to give a talk about all things flowers. Clearly, our datebooks are packed — but just wait until next month when the art scene heats up. See you on the town. Hillery Stack Dallas Publisher hillery@papercitymag.com
