Honorary chairs Cindy Rachofsky and Meghan Looney opted for black-and-white platforms and leopard straps, while chairmen Piper Wyatt and Suzanne Droese flaunted Tribute YSL sandals for the mad romp down Main Street past the windows of Neiman Marcus Downtown. During preparty fueling, guests — champagne in hand — navigated on autopilot to the magnificent shoe salon on the first floor before lining up, engines primed, near the purple platform stage where encouraging send-off cheers emanated from Wyatt, Droese and NM's GM Shelle Sills. As DJ Lucy Wrubel blasted "These Boots Are Made For Walking," more than 200 ladies in skyrocketing heels sped around the fashion landmark, while MC Todd Fiscus shouted encouragement, "That's not a walk, that's a strut!" Also on the stage, Ceron, Neiman's Matthew Simon and PaperCity's Holly Moore cheered the ladies as they crossed the finish line. Then it was back to the party for cocktails and chats, while the Sole Sisters Shoe Confessional booth heard many a sad tale of broken heels and shattered hearts. Heated bidding ensued at the auction: a season of shoes from NM; closet editing and organizing with Debby Jett Allbright via Wardrobe RX; a private fitness class followed by drinks and spa treatments for a group of 10 at Equinox; and more.
