staged its first annual
Stand-Up for Brain Cancer Gala
with headliner Kevin Nealon of
Saturday Night Live. More than
500 guests gathered to enjoy the
show, as well as cocktails, dinner
and a silent auction. The benefit
raised $950,000 for the cause.

and Raymond Sawaya, who
discussed advances in brain
cancer research, while MD
Anderson colleague Frederick
Lang was awarded the inaugural
grant presentation. Cancer
