ALL WRAPPED UP IN ROBERTO CAVALLI BY CHRISTINA GEYER. PHOTOGRAPHY KRISTI AND SCOT REDMAN. "I t's classic Cavalli," said Roberto Cavalli PR whiz Cristiano Mancini of the fashion house's latest debut: a wondrous collection of silk, chiffon and cashmere pashminas in quintessentially Cavalli prints. To fête the luxurious, wrappable wares, Roberto Cavalli looked to PaperCity to help co-host a champagne soirée at the Italian designer's NorthPark Center store. As expected, the Cavalli contingent turned out in force Timothy Lane to shop and socialize during the intimate affair, wearing nothing less than, yes, their flashiest Cavalli best. We took note of stylish types such as David Arnwine, Nancy Morales, Sue Luna, Ken Valencia, Derwin McVea, Patrick Edmondson, John Reoch, Jim Duran, Denise Gasc, and Carlos Alonso. "There are many to choose from," said Mancini as he thumbed through winter's must-have accessory — wispy wraps in eye-catching snakeskin, chinoisserie and animal print patterns. But it wasn't just pashminas and scarves that caught the eye of Chuck attendees. Those clever Thornton Cavalli party planners tapped five male models from the Kim Dawson Agency to assist guests with their shopping: the perfectly charming and handsome Thomas Mullins, Timothy Lane, Jay Vockler, Donny Boaz, and former Carlos PaperCity cover boy Alonzo Brandon Davidson. Jim Two of the dapper gents Duran even helped us try on a scarf for size. Gorgeous models and beautiful must-have scarves? Two fashionable accessories certainly worth blushing over.
