86 IT'S RAINING MEN FROM BEEFCAKE TO BUSINESS MOGULS, THIS CATWALK ROCKED WITH MEN OF STYLE. By Shelby Hodge. Photography Emile Browne, Quy Tran. F lowers, confetti, and playful catcalls greeted the 25 men about town who strutted the runway at the annual Una Notte in Italia, benefi tting Bo's Place. Taking time out from the grid- iron for the catwalk experience at the Royal Sonesta Hotel were Houston Texans Whitney Mercilus, Andre Hal, and Christian Covington, dashing in their attire from Festari for Men. Three-time Olympian Steven Lopez strutted like a star, but it was Bo's Place president Travis Torrence who brought the house down with his juking Motown mode. Chairs Stacey Soriero and Tiffany Wong led the charge for the evening, which honored Una Notte found- ers Debbie and Rudy Festari with a city proclamation for their charitable fund-raising prowess. In advance of the big night, Cavalli store manager Dawn Faulkner treated benefi t chairs and special guests to a fashion-focused luncheon in the River Oaks District boutique. Kara Kinder Vidal and Stephanie Cockrell chaired the midday diversion, where ladies dined on divine saffron-infused sea- bass risotto from Taverna. SEEN: Rachel and Jeff Bagwell, Diane Lokey Farb, Ben Berg, Dr. Sippi and Ajay Khurana, Mike Chabala, Melissa Mithoff, Robin Young Ellis and Joe Ellis, Regina and Mark Duke, Hallie Vanderhider, and Stephanie and Ernie Cockrell.
